DrinkSpy

Drink prices across New Zealand stores

DrinkSpy is a phone app for people aged 18 and over. It compares liquor prices at New Zealand liquor stores and supermarkets, and shows bars, pubs and clubs near you.

What the app does

• Compare prices. Look up a beer, wine, spirit or RTD and see its price at each store near you, in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Taupō, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. Prices come from each store's own website and can differ in store.
• Know what's in a drink. Drinks show their size and, where the store lists it, their alcohol content and standard drinks.
• Going out. Bars, pubs and clubs near you, how busy people there say they are, and their happy hours, deals and events.
• Favourites. Keep your favourite drinks, stores and venues on your phone, and see whether a favourite drink's price has gone up or down. No account needed.
• Venue photos. Sign in with email, Apple or Google to add photos of the places in Going out.

Getting the app

DrinkSpy is in beta on iPhone, through TestFlight. It will be on the App Store once it launches.
